Happy Mothers Day Weekend!

“Mama was my greatest teacher, a teacher of compassion, love and fearlessness. If love is sweet as a flower, then my mother is that sweet flower of love”. – Stevie Wonder

That being said, to all the mothers, step mothers, adoptive mothers and single mothers pulling double duty  – Happy Mothers Day!

Let this weekend be the time where you get showered with love, kindness and appreciation for all you do.

Interesting fact #14 about Mothers Day: Mother’s Day was first celebrated in 1908, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at St Andrew’s Methodist Church in West Virginia.  Anna Jarvis wanted to honor her mother by continuing the work she started and to set aside a day to honor all mothers, because she believed that they were “the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world”.

Truer words were never spoken. We wouldn’t be here without our Mothers, so give them a hug, send them a card, purchase flowers or even a phone call! It’s the simple little things that matter.

Oregon Dairy Industries

Today is the day for travel! Oregon Dairy Industries is underway tomorrow the 12th and Wednesday the 13th.

I can not believe how quickly this conference came this year. 2016 has flown by and I look forward being able to be a member again for another fun trip! Our Oregon representative Byron Johnson and myself will be down in Salem, Oregon for this convention and we hope so see some bright and shiny new faces!

Don’t forget to stop by our table and chat with us (even trying all the different types of cheeses makes it worth it).

Looking forward to this 2016 ODI Convention

Stay cheesy!

New year, Valentines day and now Easter.

We can’t believe how fast the time has been going! Easter was yesterday and we enjoyed the time with our families, hope you were able to do the same. So much has been going on with Nether there are no words to truly state how lucky we are. With jobs lined up all the way into the end of the year and into next year, we couldn’t be more grateful.

The weather is looking like it is getting warmer and the sun has been shining thru cloud lately.

ODI (Oregon Dairy Industries) conference is the middle of next month (April 12-13th) with Nether having their very own booth! Myself and Byron Johnson will be assisting the conference and looking forward to seeing some new bright and shiny faces! Make sure to come check us out if you are in the dairy industry. Can’t go wrong with cheese!

We hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend and don’t forget to smile! This life is beautiful.

Holiday season upon us.

Unfortunately the year is quickly coming to a close. 2015 has came and is about to be complete in the blink of an eye. Inventory time, holiday breaks, wrapping of gifts, endless amounts of pumpkin pie and soon the throwing of confetti for a brand new year.

Luckily for us, those things don’t slow us down. 10 hour days and sometimes working thru the nights are still underway. We have been blessed with the company flourishing in the midst of attacks even. We have been praying to the big man upstairs to watch over Paris and wish them all a full emotional and physical recovery. It has been amazing to see the country come together and support one-another in times like these.

Speaking of times; who is looking forward to a nice Thanksgiving feast? I know I sure am. Second time making a turkey and although I am beyond nervous, it sure is exciting. Turkey, stuffing, corn, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberries and pie galore.

As for the end of the year, we are looking forward to cleaning out our inventory! Who isn’t, right? There will also be numerous items being posted in the next week or two for  used equipment that we know someone else is looking forward to purchasing. We have been going around and looking at our inventory realizing we don’t and won’t need quite a few things, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled on the page for when it gets posted!

We here at Nether wish everyone a safe, dry, full belly, warm holiday weekend coming up and look forward to the brand new year upon us.

Don’t forget to call or email in your orders before prices change in January 😀

School has officially started!

Good evening everyone! It has been a while since we’ve been on here and wrote what was going on. Today we’ve had a few phone calls stating that our 1-800 number is not working. However if that is what you are hearing when you call, do not be alarmed. The phone number is not a “non working number” like the automated voice is saying, there is a tweak in our phone lines which is being worked on right now. No harm no foul, if you need to get a hold of us, you can always call us at 360-825-7940 rather then the 1-800-997-7940 number.

Life in Nether has been extremely busy and no one seems to be able to take a breather. Luckily for us though, we had 8 birthdays in August alone so celebrating those were wonderful!

The school year has started and we are thrilled to go see the fresh new faces at the high school looking for potential welding and fabricating careers. September 1st has already came and went but those buses we sure did not miss! Time to change your leaving the house schedule just in case your stuck behind the big yellow thing early in the morning. We’ve already had a few of those so far!

Best of luck to all of those Elementary, Middle School, Junior High and High School students out there. We wish you a wonderful year and some extra fabulous learning!

Independence Day

Happy 4th of July to everyone! Enjoy some sun, some yummy food, some fireworks and some friends.

We wish you all a safe and fun-filled weekend.

Let’s all just take a moment to enjoy the beautiful weather we’ve been having here in Enumclaw, Washington.

What a rare occasion it is.

No rain in sight, but a beautiful rainbow.

Memorial Day Weekend; successful!

We hoped everyone had a safe and exciting Memorial Day weekend! Luckily we had Monday off so our 3 day weekend was spend with family and friends with BBQ’s, camping galore and of course remembrance!

Take a moment and remember why we celebrate Memorial Day; a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered. Thank you for all those who actively service or have previously served. You mean so much to us here!

Stay safe everyone!

2015 Conferences

These last few weeks we have had the wonderful opportunity to be involved in an ODI conference in Salem, OR as well as the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo in Portland, OR.

We got to meet so many amazing companies and people. Of course one of our very best memories is our “stainless man”. It was fun to build him, transport him and have people stare at him. Let me tell you, that was one topic people stopped for if not for another.

We will keep you updated on the upcoming events and fun!

Also, if you think of a cool name for “stainless man” send us over your ideas! We’d love to hear them!

Until next year, Seattle…..

Well, our hometown Seahawks may not have won the second Superbowl in a row, but we sure did make one heck of a come back in the 4th quarter! Last year for Super Bowl XLVIII our Seahawks won and our city will never forget. This is something we will never forget as well – 20 second left in the game and the Patriots intercept the ball. Honestly, I didn’t see that coming!

Us Nether girls are still reppin’ our 12’s. They played one heck of a Superbowl for the second time in a row and we know we will be back! It’s not over until we get that Lombardi Trophy once again!

From L-R: Yvonne, Tiffany, SanDee, Ginet, Tessa, Mary, Debbie and Pam.

We hope you all had a safe and fun Superbowl XLIX ! Until next year….

Good job Seahawks.
